NFC Championship Round

San Francisco 49ers @ Philadelphia Eagles

This is a matchup between two very physical teams that love to run the football and have extremely good defenses. In the last round Philly blew out the New York Giants in a game that was over before half time. Meanwhile The 49ers had a close game against Dallas, where Brock Purdy had a slow start, but maintained cool and took care of the ball in route to his seventh straight win as starter. This is going to be a really exciting game in many ways! Both teams like to go after the quarterback in different ways, both teams have playmakers all over the field. The Eagles led the NFL with 70 sacks, four of their defensive players had ten or more sacks! I'm expecting a low scoring game, where defense dictates the flow of the game.

AFC Championship Round

Cincinnati Bangels @ Kansas City Chiefs

The big issue here is the health of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes suffered a high-ankle sprain in last week game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Bengals will look to capitalize on Mahomes injury and will look to put pressure on him on defense. Cincinnati has beaten Kansan City in three straight games, including last seasons AFC Championship Game. In their regular season game The Bengals beat Kansas City 27-24 in a game where Joe Burrow threw for 286 yards and two touchdowns. We all expect Joe Shiesty to put up a great game in Kansas City!
